Everything that's galvanised will have imperfections somewhere, usually where the item has been hung when dipping. YRM are being honest and upfront about it, don't let it put you off. Everything I've had from them has been of great quality.
And if you're unsure, give them a ring and ask. Very helpful bunch. |

Alternatively you could buy new either genuine or pattern and get them blasted and galvanised yourself, but the overall cost and quality would likely be similar to YRM.
I have bought parts from YRM in the past and have never been disappointed, in my experience their products are excellent. |

Depends on how bad yours are, but there are repair sections that you can cut and weld in. Then I would still go the route mentioned by blackwolf as painting them on the underside is very difficult.
But I am inclined to hot dip everything, as I get good prices locally. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

If you purchase new cappings, the rivet holes are different from the 200tdi on the six visible rivets on the side of the tub, so redriling of the capping will be required.

I really need to move this on and assume redrilling of the tub rather than cappings is not an option |
