Wiper jets
Morning all, I've been getting used to my new p400e and have noticed that there is only one wiper jet per wiper....which sprays in a really strange way and doesn't reach the whole windscreen. Should there be more than one jet per wiper or is this just a Land Rover oddity?

I only have one jet per wiper ........ and neither jets is NOT heated !!!!!

What MY are you? I’ve got 3 or 4 jets per wiper, mounted on the wiper itself.

Twin jets per wiper

NOT heated, in my day you needed to order The Cold Climate Pack !!!

even global warming isn't helping. Sad

It’s a MY24 and it just seems so strange to have one jet per wiper….makes me think it’s a manufacturing miss!!

My 2022 has three jets l think. Apparently they are heated because l ordered the "cold climate pack" but l can't see how they can be as there's no wires going to the wiper arms.

Does it work well? lt may be an update as people have complained about the wash/wipe not being very good.

could the liquid be 'pre-heated' under the bonnet, before being pumped out to the wiper ?

I've come from a BMW which had really efficient wipers and the Defender ones seem archaic! The jets spray the lowest arc of the window with most of the water going up the sides of the windscreen and onto the door windows......really not impressed. I can't believe that the Cold Climate pack means you get more jets....I get heated jets etc but not more!

On closer inspection there are two washer jet fixings to each arm - see photos.....it's just that only the smaller fixing actually sprays!!! I'll have to speak to the dealership about it as it must be a fault.

I have a March 2023 90 HSE and 4 jets on each wiper, but the wipers are hopeless for removing dead bugs, even freshly killed bugs, no matter how much water gets sprayed on the glass. My Feb 2020 built 110 had much better wipers Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

My wife's 23 90HSE appears to have 3 jets per wiper and they work perfectly well clearing mud and bugs, no problems so far
