Dreaded VCV again! I hope!
I think my VCV is playing up again for the 5th time!

This morning I left to go fishing, engine started with an extra crank than the normal one, drove about a mile but engine felt lumpy at idle. Stopped at the tackle shop then set off to the reservoir. Half a mile up the road the engine cut out and wouldn’t start just kept cranking this happened for about 4 goes. Key out and back in and it started with an extra crank again. 40 minute journey to the reservoir with no issues at all actually very smooth?
I’m thinking along the lines of the VCV?

The few I bought were all branded Denso and came in branded brown cardboard box. Last one PF Jones.
Is there anywhere you can recommend apart from Land Rover to get a genuine one? 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

I guess Ford will have it, and probably cheaper than Land Rover. I don't know the part number cross reference though. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Hank I've bought one from Trek Overland with the G on the end, going to fit it this week.

last 2 trips out for camping metal detecting the engine just dies on the motorway Shocked won't jump start and takes several attempts to fire back up with the key, then she runs fine and faultless for miles?
sometimes happens once on a 2 hour journey sometimes twice sometimes not at all?

hoping its the CVC 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8
