90 R>F wire routing
Silly question but is there an existing loom route inside the truck that runs front to back??

Need to route a 12V aux power wire from the tow bar electrics to the battery box and was hoping to move the existing one inside somehow??

Inside the vehicle, only at roof level in the gutter, where the interior light cables run (offside) and the rear washer pipe (nearside). There isn't really another continuous but concealed straight line through the vehicle interior from front to back, without going under carpets etc in footwells.

It’s a hard top so no carpets as such but has got the LR rubber liner mat….
Don’t mind removing stuff to sort tidily ??

You could find an easy route up and down through the cab. If it's just one relatively small cable, like the factory tow electrics, then it could be protected with a flexible sleeve and should be pretty unobtrusive. You could enter the battery box by an existing grommet, if you have heated seats (or the blank hole if unfitted).

Personally I prefer to run these things under the vehicle in convoluted tubing. You wouldn't have to enter the cab at all, passing into the battery box by an existing grommet, hole or blanking plug (on my 2008 the battery box is full of unused factory holes). Underneath there are lots of existing looms, breather pipes, bits of chassis to cable tie your new wiring to.

Yes this is effectively for a 12S connector / new 13pin connector and no they don’t exist as std…..

Was just thinking it would be far neater following an existing loom internally but maybe I just look for a very hidden ‘under’ route
