I would advise that you contact the experience companies directly and explain your request/query

I tried that with several companies which offer 4x4 experiences and the answer remains always the same: you have to have a valid licence (also the company you are referring to says that on their website ) even if it´s taking place on private land.

You'll be aware the vast majority of classic Defenders are manual, finding an automatic version may be difficult, unless you're talking about the new Defender, in which case no problem.
