Jump seat retrofit
Hi

I’m a potential owner on the brink of taking the plunge! I have seen my almost ideal spec 2022 90 Hard Top at my local garage with less than 9k miles on for seemingly the right money. Everything I’m after except it doesn’t have a centre console or a jump seat.

Is it possible to add the jump seat. I’ve read it’s a nightmare to swap out the console but as this car has neither, is it realistic?

Thanks in advance.

I think anything’s possible, just depends on how much you’re willing to throw at it.

I always fancied the jump seat, tried it when they launched the Hard Top models, surprisingly comfortable just not much room for an adults feet.

My first 90 I deleted the centre console but LR chose to fit it anyway Rolling Eyes 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yeah I’m probably over thinking it to be honest. It would probably never get used anyway!feels a bit spare without the console/arm rest. I have a Discovery 4 at the moment so I’m used to having something there.

Cheers

I too have, what is termed 'the walk through' option, no console no jump seat.
So I fitted a compressor fridge freezer as I propose to travel around alot. I even gave the unit a padded arm rest to match the seats .

Put this title into eBay search box.

Dellonda 15L Portable Compressor Car Fridge Electric Camping Cool Box 12/24/230V

Don't be put off by the price. Scroll down and you will find a link to save another 15%
PS this is a true compressor fridge NOT a cool box.

The fabric I found on eBay also, came from a company that re-upholsters, fabric seat interiors to leather.
Search, Sterling - Urban ... and alike.
