Just wondering if anyone has had issues refilling their LED flasher fluid?

No, he means blinker fluid. It has to be kept full, or your turn signals and hazards will stop flashing.
It's like making sure you change the winter air in your tires for summer air and vice versa to accomodate the seasons. |

Exactly, thanks for the tip on Winter vs. Summer air, I will be sure to change mine soon, I just rotated the tyres at the first 5000km, and had to swap from lh air to rh air.

This might be a good time to remind owners of the classic defender, that when upgrading from filament bulbs to led lights, that led specific fluid must be used. Drain and flush the system with your desired indicator flush, then refill with fully synthetic indicator/blinker fluid. Mineral based fluids can have a peculiar effect in the diodes.

you can now get a LED trafficator, which are both electrical and mechanical, so keep them oiled. |

The indicators on my old Morris 8 stopped flashing, they were on all the time.
I tried to buy more flashes but the shop sold me the gaps, and not the actual flashes, so now they don't work at all. |

How much for the gaps? I was quoted the same price per gap as per flash, but Im thinking the gaps should be 50% of the flash as the globe or led isn't actually working.....
Re the fluid, I enquired, and here in Oz I can only get "Winks" synthetic led flasher fluid, it is guaranteed for 20,000 blinks though.... |

So if you change for a different viscosity of fluid can you vary the blinker timing? Ride like you stole it!!

That "Winks" synthetic LED flasher is rubbish. I turned on my hazard lights and only one side worked. You need to use "Blinks" instead. (Although my indicators no longer work now.) |

That's the problem with modern cars they find more and more ways for you to part with your money.
Dealer LED fluid bloody rip off that, much cheaper online. |
