the idea of winning it and then selling sounds good but i read in a news paper about someone selling a big prize like that and they had to pay tax on it. something to due with not living in the house.

Should you be the lucky blighter who wins, just register it as main house the (local council) de register where you currently live, so it’s your main residence. Bobs your uncle no capital gains tax required
