I only fitted it today. Wasn't planning on fitting a grille, who knows. |

If you prefer to solder a heat gun works well (two 120 watt soldering irons are not enough), use lead/tin solder. Tin only solder is a pain & has other issues.

No no nooooo. Just crimp them. Solder makes a stiff point in the cable that leaves it prone to cracking. A good crimp is a much better option for stranded cable. |

Very true. Soldering can cause 'wicking' of solder down the insulator sleeving, which is prone to fracture. I did in fact crimp mine. |
