Load capacity (kg) for a 90 (puma/td5)
Does anybody know how much weight (kg) a 90 (TD5 or Puma) can carry in the load area?

Ideal to know for a Pickup / Van / CSW if it differentiates.

I had quite a bit to move but didn't want any issues so went with 250-300kg evenly distributed, which was fine but curious how much more I could've gone.

pretty sure its about 600kg for a TD5 90. They can be up sprung from memory too as my Double Cab was up sprung to 3500kg Max weight so had well over a tonne of payload, I used to stick 500kg bales in the back with no issues.

See the axle weights and gross weights here:

Individual axle weights and gross weights cannot be exceeded. So 600kg is a good approximation given that the weight on the rear axle of a 90 is about 800kg when unladen. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

When doing SVA quite a few years back axles we’re rated to 1200 kg each
