That's crazy.
Why is it so expensive, there must be a reason |

The 75th edition seems to be not much more than a very expensive paint job on a
standard vehicle, and a model that has missed the mark in terms of potential, if LR had got it right in terms of options and appearance I would assume that most people would be happy to get one at a sensible price.. yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

There is nothing about it that says "heritage" is there. Total missed opportunity. Why would you paint it the colour of the inside of a mint aero when you could go with something classier like bronze green? https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

The fact LR cannot sell them sends a cautionary note to potential buyers the problems they will have when they too want to sell / part-ex.
What were they thinking off, missed opportunity to celebrate an iconic brand. |

I bet if they had made them V8’s, painted them a less “in your face” colour (Light Atlantis Blue like the 50th Anniversary cars), kept the present V8 prices and only made 75 90’s and 75 110’s they would have sold the lot the day they announced them! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Owning a 50th and a P525 myself I completely agree with Tim. A V8 in Atlantis Blue and some subtle upgrades would have sold on the spot. m

I suspect it is no more than a "lets test the market" and see if anyone would cough up over twice the Australian MSRP for one.. There has been some discussion on one of the FB groups on whether this is truly a private seller or whether a dealer has registered it and trying to increase their quarterly commission cheque by putting it into a "used/2nd owner category" which may give a bit more leeway in terms of pricing who knows.. yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |
