Changing from built in nav to Google Maps
l've always used Google Maps as l prefer it, but this morning the Defender has defaulted to the built in navigation.

The phone is connected but l can't find out how to change it back to Google Maps. lt's done this before and there was a drop down menu if l recall to select it.

But this time l just can't find it. Can anyone help?

Also it looks like the vehicle's SIM card is no longer connected to the internet

l've checked in settings and it's turned on.

Solved it!

Reset the pivi pro (held down the power button for 20 seconds) and it's all come back, Google maps re appeared and the SIM is back online

Good you solved it. If it happens again, on the homescreen in the navigation window there's a button that if you tap it allows you to switch between carplay and built in for nav. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Might be obvious, might not.. the quickest way I've found to switch nav source is:
1. Home Screen
2. Little nav source icon (red square)
3. Choose pivi or carplay

You don't see the option if your phone's not connected/doesn't have decent signal for google maps.
