Can't speak for Cornwall, but we're booking a lot direct with the old Estates in Scotland. Might be an equivalent in Cornwall?
Cottages.com are good. Avoid LHH - they were dreadful handling cancellations during Covid and need punishing badly. |

LHH are 'large and luxury holiday homes'.
Really nice places. They appear to be close to a monopoly in Harris & Lewis. Just bad Ts & Cs. They've been paying to have their rating on TrustPilot flooded with fake, positive reviews. |

Unfortunately AirBnB hosts are getting worse and worse... Properties that charge an excessive cleaning and service fee, but expect the hirer to do all the cleaning! I think people bought up properties as an easy money making scheme, but have no time or interest in managing them as such.

We use the big aggregator sites just to find what we like and then try and see if we can find a way to book direct with owner (they often have their own website). Or just search Google maps as most places are marked on their. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

There are quite a few letting agents here in Cornwall specific to certain areas of the county, do you have a location in mind or is it an anywhere in Cornwall holiday?
Aspects letting agents are good for around St.Ives area. https://www.aspects-holidays.co.uk/cottage...GQQAvD_BwE More general in Cornwall. https://www.sykescottages.co.uk/cornwall-holiday-cottages.html 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |
