The first question is, why was the battery flat ? Had it been left weeks before starting, had lights or something else been left on ?
I’m just wondering if you have a charging issue, either wiring or alternator. Hence battery not charging and poor running and lights flickering and dash lights up. |

I would check how well your battery terminals are clamping, especially the earth clamp. You can loosen, tap down and retighten.
Also fully charge your battery, trickle charging is best. Else you need to go through the battery removal procedure to ensure BBUS alarm does not go off, then remove battery and charge on bench. |

It did seem to be a power issue, either batt, wiring or alternator. So good you found the problem.
To prevent your starter battery getting so low that it damages it a ctek trickle charger is a good investment. |
