Hard to tell really. l imagine anyone whose vehicle needs checking will receive a letter

The problem is, this recall was filed with the NHTSA in the US (pdf attached to article). This means that only NAS vehicles will be covered by this filing and LR does not sell diesel vehicles in the US. The AJ20 P6 and AJ20 D6 share numerous components - I have no idea if the cam carrier is amongst them or not (and I was not able to figure this out on a very quick search just now - no more time). The valve train is different due to the variable valve timing on the petrol models, though.

My car could theoretically fall into the VIN range, but I have a D250. When I was last on Topix about 2 weeks ago nothing but the 2nd key was listed as outstanding. I'll have to check again when I have a min.

Good old Facebook strikes again

Where's this oil leak supposed to come from, once l've cleaned my drive of the oil that leaked out of my old TD5 Defender l'll keep a look out for it.

Although on that FB post it sounds like the engine has let go and not just an oil leak.

Other countries' authorities will follow with recall information for sure.
It's not unsusal for NHTSA to be much quicker with publishing recalls.
