That's not my picture, but looking at the Diff guard I have I need to completely remove 2 of the top nuts on the diff housing to fit the bracket and loosen 2 of the bottom nuts to fit the bottom of the bracket.
The bottom of the bracket does not have a full hole that would need to be slid over the diff casing stud/bolt and would only be held by the nut "pinching" it. I'd be reluctant to rely fully on that without the 2 M12 bolts to hold it. If the bottom only slips over on the outside of the nuts, I'd be even less confident. cheers, yes thats the same fitting as the wildbear, which for me was not an easy or straight fwd fit without quite a bit work.. the picture in your post looks to be a bit different...ie I can't see the slots in the plate to allow it to fit over the diff studs and allow it to be nipped up by the nuts |
