SCV/VCV (again..)
G’day braintrust,

Replaced SCV from a denso piece from Pete at BAS (wonderful fella btw). Car instantly felt better, more responsive etc. put 800km on her yesterday and parked up for the night. Seems the valve has gone again. Intermittent stalling from startup, very rough idle.

I’m about 1000k from home and have a long way round if I don’t cut things short. Any other suggestions? MAP/MAF brand new and clean, fresh filters all round recently. EGR blocked. 07 D90 w/ 77k miles

Tia

Dirt or water in the fuel will destroy a VCV in seconds, are you sure your fuel is clean and dry?
