Great lamps but when I was looking for a pair for the SVX I noticed they don't have a side light. As the your ICE has the same front you'll have the same trouble.

I would imagine they'll work with the dim dip so not a huge issue but not strictly legal come mot time or you could make some sort of side light to fit in the aux driving lights but personally that was a step too far on the SVX so I settled with some uprated bulbs. Formerly mao99999

mao - i'm considering moving the sidelights into the spots by making a hole at the bottom of the lens, the wires are long enough just need to find a specialist to dril the lens, then using LED sidelight bulb either glue or mastic it into place. Thumbs Up

That'll work or you could swap the spots for some with type of side bulb in?

Looks like you've convinced yourself so get the money out Rolling with laughter And some pics when fitted Thumbs Up Formerly mao99999

This is a Defender2.net exclusive! This is a sneak peek of our latest project car, which was only photographed yesterday.

ALIVE is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as a premium distributor for Land Rover LED lighting products by JW Speaker and Mobile Centre.

We have the very first 8700 LED Headlamps with built in sidelights, for use with the SVX grille set, which will be available from early January.

Come and see them on our new 2012 Puma 90 demonstrator at Autosport International, from January 12th.

That's awsome. I'd been thinking about this too and having the same front had come across the same issue. Putting LED sidelights into any hot lamp (spot or otherwise) simply does not work long term, as the LED's don't cope well with the extended temperatures they have to content with. I'd looked on the web and wondered if Speaker did one of these with an integral sidelight.

So say you bought a set of RHD lights and you went to a LHD country on holiday, how would you overcome the beam direction issue??

I'm not trying to put people off but trying see he this problem is solved before I sneak something else past the wife Whistle (and for those in the know she still hasn't mentioned anything to me, even after loading the back up to drive home for Christmas last night) Rolling with laughter Russell

It might seem an obnoxious answer but why bother do our friends from the Euro zone do the same for us ?
Look at the LGV’s not one bothers with beam deflectors (Not sure if there is an answer BTW re the JW’s ) I drive/drove all over Europe and not once have I’ been stopped for light infringements might of had a few Paris peyage moments re Tacho infringements making the Friday night ferry but nothing 200 B&H didn’t sort (bring back those days )
