if you use 2T (2-stroke) oil then you need to change the engine oil more often..... Puma 110" SW

FC for the Puma owing to the catalytic converter.Castrol Actevo seems most suited as it is mineral based and up to FC spec. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Aahh - I think you mean if you add 2SO in general? How much more often for the engine oil changes?
Cheers,
Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Use TCW-3 mineral marine two stroke. It's low ash and burns at lower temp. The mineral oils mix and become one with diesel with no separation. If you can't get mineral use semi-synth. Puma 110 SW

For which reason engine oil must be replaced with shorter frequency ?

I use the Actevo too.

According to the German bloke who started the whole 2so debate over on another forum, the optimum ratio to add to the diesel is 1:200.

On a 110 this equates to approx. 330ml. I measured this amount out (using water) in a screw top clear plastic drinks bottle, marked the level, dried out the bottle, and now keep one 'dose' measured out and ready each time.

BTW, Halfrauds charge £8.99 for a 1litre bottle. Nielsen CDG (google it) charge £4.85, or £4.55 if you order 16 or more! About to see if Opie can match that! :-)

Correction - Nielsen's £4.85 price is for 12 or more. I buy in bulk! Extra 30p off comes if you buy 16 or over.

Otherwise it's £5.99.

I've used some Castrol 2stroke oil, JasoFB ... 250ml/70L fuel ... 2l toal, 8 diesel tanks

It's quieter, I think, but my L/km (Mpg) is the same ... I'll keep using it! Regards
