Gear change getting clunky - related with the wiring for the clutch switch, so yes I expect this to be an earthing problem. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Clunky gearing is because the ECU thinks you're not moving. The gearchange is horrid without the speed being supplied to the ECU (via the instrument pack).
If you lose only the speedo and RPM/coolant temp etc still work then yes I think you have water ingress into the speedo transducer connector or the transducer itself. Martin ![]() ![]() |
