clutch height adjustment - rubber mats
Hi folks. I've just fitted a wright off road mat to the Puma defender (2010, 2.4) and noticed that the clutch pedal is hitting the mat when fully depressed.

Before fitting I had checked the pedal height to make sure it was at factory settings and was all correct (140mm from bare floor plate to base of bare pedal).

The brake and throttle pedals are obviously miles clear of the mat - its just the clutch.

So, is it just a case of adjusting the pedal to raise the lower stop a little to ensure it clears the mat?

Wind the pedal stop bolt in until the pedal clears, then check Clutch operation. Adjust if necessary but don't get too hung up on the 140mm measurement, it's a guide.
