2.4 Puma Turbo Actuator. Where to Buy?
Does anyone know the best place to purchase one as I can only find the following with such diverse pricing leaving me unsure what’s best?

https://www.turbovanesltd.com/product/turb...2610-0010/

Has anyone just swapped out the actuator without a new turbocharger, as I’ve been going round in circles on this for ages and the specialists aren’t much help round here?

I replaced just the turbo actuator on my 2.2 a couple of years ago, which cured a problem that I was having at the time. I bought from an eBay seller called nerings, who seem to be in Latvia, without any issue. They sell the correct one for your engine here:

I’d do what LRA mentioned, there no problem at all to replace only the actuator.

Naturally all suppliers want you to buy a whole assembly including turbo and fitting when in reality only the actuator maybe at fault.
Often the actuator will flag a DTC if there is issues with it, if it’s getting stuck a few drops of 3 in 1 oil on the pivots is worth doing.
I had a stuck actuator before, little lube and it’s been fine since.
I’ve I ever get issues again I’ll replace the actuator, I may get a spare anyway.

It’s not uncommon for the turbo to be absolutely fine but the actuaries causing the faults. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Thanks both. I’m torn between getting a new actuator or actuator plus turbo given the engine is brand new at 84k.

Some thinking over the weekend. Very Happy
