In the short term, my old landcruiser. longer term, really not sure yet. It's either new knee or new vehicle, and right now I really don't fancy a new knee

i'm 6'2" in a 90 almost identical to yours and mud rails made a huge difference. i'd suggest try them before you change vehicle BM52

Ok guys,
![]() ![]() It's not the seat position, its my left leg position and the rails don't do much about that as I have a problematic knee. I appreciate the sentiment, but I've tried every seat from SVX to range rover seats in a defender, I can't change my left leg angle by more than a few degrees. I need to sell it, sad though that is. |

Firstly - cracking vehicle.
Secondly, did you consider Red Booster (or something like that!) - a servo assisted clutch. I've got a fairly dodgy left knee - ok most of the time, but sometimes hurts like a b. And being the right side of 40 (Still!) and prob too young for cartlidge ops etc., so am considering for mine. Might be better as you would have very little pressure on your knee . I'm 6'3" so know your problem 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

I'm off ![]() I can get a dodgy knee also and for me, similar to Mike, it's the angle of your knee not so much any pressure from operating the clutch (although that can bring it on quicker!) - it sort of twists it slightly as your foot doesn't rest directly below your knee! ![]() |

Try a disco 3 auto.
I still miss mine, waiting for the new 8 speed box version and will be chopping in the 90 for a commercial. Pom |
