Click image to enlarge there you go what isn't visible in the photo is the flap that tucks down the back of the engine hence the L shape overall. You just have to bend it away from the exhaust manifold. You can also get an under bonnet kit but I think the blanket is better as it muffles the din at source |

I had a Td5 one which I shifted from vehicle to vehicle, it worked well. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. What is behind the plastic circle with Land Rover on it on the lefthand side of the engine? My 2008 Puma does not have this. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Its the cover plate for the air con compressor drive belt and pulley |

sorry nikojo just noticed this but no pictures I'm afraid. I just plastered it on from the inside and put the carpet back on - job done and hidden !
