DRL Schematic with switched 12v source
Hey folks, I figured I would share this. I have not been able to find any sort of diagram to aid folks who want to add DRL’s from a switched 12v to their Defender. I have also mocked up here what it would look like to add a Fuse bank with half switched and half constant.
I would LOVE your input here. Does this look accurate? I have dug around a lot in the dash and found a two candidates to use as a relay trigger: the rear window switch, the WHITE Ignition wire. I am inclined to use the Ignition wire.
The only pain is it would seem I have to run wires under the cab in the engine bay and though the firewall… though, should not be too bad.
