Chris from Ore posted this on this thread Thumbs Up

Chris here from ORE,
Someone messaged me about this post as I don’t use this forum very often.

Drop us an email from contact field on website

Basically I’m got the guys cutting spacers… the overhang of the tub over the xmember is LR
Factory tolerance +/- 8mm I’m reliably told. This means some fit with no issue and some fit with trimming.
Plan is to have a spacers made 1 to 4mm and you can select from spare parts section of the website. It will Take a couple of weeks as we’re flat out with back orders and Just moved to a bigger premises which has been somewhat painful in terms of disruption.

Email us for anything further as I don’t use this platform often

Thanks
Chris

Cheers
I missed that

Possibly cat amongst the pigeons here, it is not as new or sexy as the ORE or Naka carriers, but... Safari Equip on ol'Miffy...

I have had the same wheel carrier for twenty years or so now and it works a treat. Back then I went for the version with the hi-lift jack mount and it was ace... but taller tyres put a stop to that and the fact the jack hides the fog light is a no-no for me. The carrier though is strong and easily carries the weight of a 285 on Boost wheel plus my weight when loading the roof rack Smile Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up As with the Britpart and Mantec carriers there is some drilling required but I think the 20 years of hard work and hundreds of door opening speaks for itself.

ORE all the way ( be prepared to cut the bottom Optimill hinge if you have the later version) had a Mantec for 5 years but there’s a big difference between the two. Yes ORE is a lot more cost wise but the design & quality of components is chalk & cheese.

Has anyone on here fitted the ORE tailgate version yet? I'd be interested in a review.
