They do , but it may need enabling, Take it to an independent
maintainer as Land rover will charge you the earth, when I had mine done they enabled it and only charged me the the price of the fobs which at the time was about 30 quid each.(Land Rover quoted me £1200 !!!!!!) |

Lemons. Yours will be the Lucas 10AS unit, it’s Green in colour and if you remove the drivers footwell speaker you can look up and see it.
There are two versions, one with central looking capabilities and one without. Have a look at the serial number , if it’s one of these it won’t have the central locking components fitted. AMR6431 AMR4896 YWC106270 YWC500660 However all is not lost, it can be upgraded. Have a look at this site, well worth phoning them for info https://www.technozen-electronics.co.uk/la...-services/ Also worth Talking to Ian at remotekey https://remotekey.co.uk/land-rover-keys-re...mobiliser/ |

Thanks both, super helpful! I'll get my unit sent off to Technozen to be updated (turns out it's the YWC500660 one)
Regarding adding central locking, is it just a case of purchasing 2x actuators and 2x door wiring loom kits to plug and play, or is additional wiring behind the dash required to complete it? (Trying to keep it OEM where possible) |
