I use large on my defender.
You actually want the disc lock to be loose (rotates freely) on the steering wheel so the steering wheel cannot be turned by turning the disc lock. There is a modification that can be done to prevent the disc lock from being pried off of the steering wheel too, well worth searching for it on the forum. |

As above, large so it is slack on the wheel. That is for a standard size Puma wheel.

I have a Medium on my Puma (standard wheel fitted) and it is still a loose fit. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Really, I had to buy a large coz my old medium Disclok wouldn't even come close to fitting. This is the wheel I had/ have; 
To this... Click image to enlarge Only large would fit??On the "tightest" fitting as there are 3, there is still some slack (as there should be),this stops you using the disclok as a "steering wheel". Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5. |

Yep, definitely a medium - I've just checked - and it fitted both my old Td5 and current Puma just fine (it was loose on both).

I have the lower style wheel (with dummy air bag) and the medium is a perfect fit. I doubt you could turn the wheel anyway, as the locking bar part of the disk lok catches on the windscreen. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

I was under the impression that the Disklock medium and large lock was the same size
 the only difference being the the medium size has extra padding fitted on the inside of the lock… For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Dunno about that, but I can confirm that there is some kind of material insert/padding inside my disklock. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

If you talk to Disklok, they will say medium and large are same size but there is more padding in medium. Dislock make two sizes small and Large the medium is the same as the large but with extra thick padding
The large size internal measurement is 41.5 – 44 CM The medium internal size with the padding is 39 – 41.CM However if you measure the outside diameter of both they are the same For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I had a better look at my 'medium' Disklock today, and there are indeed several thick 'pads' located all around the inside of it, so it could well be the same size as a 'large' one' only made to fit a bit more snuggly I guess. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Just fitted a "large" to my Puma, my steering wheel is as per the lower of Jimbob7's photos above, ie the one with the fake airbag bump.
I ordered the inner steering wheel cover too. With that, certainly the "large" fits well, and on the tightest notch is a good fit with enough clearance for it to turn freely. Have no doubt the "medium" would fit too on the widest notch, so if you have, or have a chance of, a medium, go for it. And in its bag, it stows neatly between the back of the seat and the "bulkhead removal rail" on a 90SW. Good idea to add a bungy cord to keep it there in case you end up upside down. Ordered mine directly from Disklok, excellent service, both company and product highly recommended. [Edited to correct appalling punctuation!] That's not a dent, it's a rivet. Measure your wheel and use their Web site.
I was going to get a large till I measured it. It turns out my steering wheel is aftermarket but with a landy badge. Hence a small fits mine no bother and is still big enough to rotate. Just ordering so thought i would measure - it looks like the wheel is 41.5 which is why the medium and large both must fit! We have the later wheel XS style wheel (with the buldge) so will probably go medium Mike |
