Brake Light Switch Cover
I've just fitted a cruise control kit to my MY2012 110, and all was well with the cruise function, but for some reason it looks like the brake light switch doesn't operate sometimes when the cover over the brake switches is fitted. I'm not sure but I think it doesn't work when the cover is fitted upside down. The brake lights stay off and the cruise doesn't cancel.
I have checked the wiring and it looks solid and the switch seems to be working fine when the cover is off.
I've manged to fit the cover and get the lights working but has anyone seen this sort of thing before?
I'd like to know why the switch isn't working with the cover on, so I can be pretty sure it isn't going to ointermittently stop working.

After refitting the cover and checking the rear brake light operates correctly using a tell tale LED on the high level light, it looks like it must have been a wire or some other item holding the brake switch closed. It's worked perfectly since I refitted the cover.
