Galvanised Bulkhead
What options do I have if purchasing the above. There seems very few suppliers and Sheikder doesn't have the best of reviews.
Thanks

It's for a 300tdi 90

I fitted a Shielder bulkhead in 2020, had no real problems, I debated getting my original one refurbed but the cost was not far off getting a new one with all new steel. There were a few tweaks to do new holes to drill but overall not a bad job. Allow plenty of time for this job because to do it right takes patience. But overall a good experience. Thumbs Up

Shielder are utter Censored . I'd never, ever fit another Evil or Very Mad

Our next one will be an Ultra. Know of a few LR specialists who have fitted them without issue Thumbs Up

Many thanks for the replies. I have contacted Ultra and sounds promising. I would have thought more companies would be making these nowadays.

Did you go with the Ultra Bulkhead? If so how was it?

There are probably too many people making bulkheads now! Sheilder is a waste of time we prepped and painted their offering went to fit and literally every dimension was inaccurate! Decided we could'nt put our name to it so removed it and fitted a late Puma used one instead. Ultra we have used and found fitted fine apart from wiper wheel boxes but it would never pass as a original. We are now using the Richards ones which are a complete authentic copy of the Genuine article. Maer produce a stainless steel bulkhead but we havent had any experience with these yet. Pegasus who have produced Series bulkheads for some time are also now making Defender bulkheads.Hobson Industries also sell a stainless bulkhead but this is much more expensive than the other offerings. SP panels also offer a universal galvanised bulkhead which spans from 1983 to 2006 so again not a totally built to spec version.

Thank you for that. As far as I am aware the Maer bulkheads are still in development.

A friend ordered from Pegasus for his 1992 Defender.
Failed to get from them and took ages to get a refund.
Proceed with caution with them.
