More to the point I'm 6'2 15(ish) stone and regularly do 300+ miles a day. My 2010XS standard seats are good for me.

Interestingly, I'm 6'2 14 stone and found the original XS seats so painful after 2 hours driving that I struggled to drive.
Maybe an extra stone around my 'seat' would help! Very Happy Very Happy

Just goes to show that we are all individual and there is no universal seat solution Very Happy

One size fits all is not viable for anything Cool

Also I have Mud seat rails which do make a real difference. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Comfortable seats is a very subjective subject and depends on your height, weight, shape and body/limb ratio.
That said I've found the Land Rover standard seat to be the most comfortable seat I've ever driven in and I can do a 300 mile full tank run without discomfort.
Try out as many as you can before buying and difficult as it may be, try and imagine how they will feel after a few hours in them.

I'm with Mo on this one, I've not come across a Defender seat that comes close to the standard Puma front seat in terms of comfort.

I just hope one day I'll be able to upgrade the seats in my Grenadier to standard Puma seats. Rolling with laughter

It really is horses for courses isn’t it. I found that I sat on the standard seat, rather than in it; just couldn’t get comfy.

To the OP, I would suggest trying as many as you can before you make your mind up. And ignore the unhelpful comment (it is very rare on this forum). Where abouts it in Yorkshire are you, your welcome to try mine.
