Me thinks someone from Stugess has read this post as my 90's faults now appear to be being taken seriously.

Apparently the warped drum is a result of the shoes dragging (a known problem) and the fix is to replace the drum and slacken the handbrake cable right off Laughing

And they're going to send a TR to Land Rover (whatever that means) regarding the transmission issues that I'm now convinced are down to a clutch fault. "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!
