The ‘T’ shape is highly lightly to be for a 12v socket - cigarette lighter style.

Hi! The white plug with the purple and black wires is the accessory socket which in theory does nothing until you connect something to it. It should provide a permanent 12v supply so if you decide to attached something to it make sure it is switched independently.
For the rear door switch you'll need a PRC8548 'Defender Rear Door Switch' Welcome to Land Rover ownership - you will need a good electrical multimeter! The first job on the interior light is to ascertain if you've got 12 volts at the light itself. The light output is determined by the unit being provided with an earth - either by moving the switch to 'on' or by the central locking ECU where one is fitted. There should be 12 volts at the unit permanently from fuse 30. In my 110 the contacts in the interior light are finicky little so-and-sos and despite there being 12 volts the lamp won't light, so a multimeter will show you if you need to simply shine up the contacts or look further. |

Great, thank you both for your replies. Handy having the wiring for the 12v socket ready to go
I’ll dig out my multimeter and give that a go. Thank you for your advice |
