Or have a read of this thread and decide how to protect your winch.

The Winchmax comes with a fuse as standard. You can then choose to use it or not. Whistle

Love a good winch install Smile Love the bumper too, is that based on the LR/Mantec winch bumper? Just wondering if the soft A-bar wold fit over it.

If is the Winchmax bumper then it is a direct copy of the original LR (Mantec) bumper. That is what they informed me.

It does feel a very heavy duty winch bumper , just fitted the new longer live terminal but was a bit of a pain getting it on the solenoid terminal and lining up the grommets again when closing the casing , and I’m glad I’ve got my own ramp Very Happy Thumbs Up

Bit late now but did you measure the distance between your bump stops and front axle.

if it feels a bit bouncy at the front or crashy over speed humps it will be worth changing the front springs.

Otherwise it looks supercool.

Don't forget to tension the rope before use. Thumbs Up

Hasn’t made any noticeable difference, being a utility 110 is very firm over speed bumps .
All wired up now and working fine , and as you say just got to tension up the rope as soon as I get chance Thumbs Up
