Part Number for TD5 pulley
Hi,

Can anyone confirm if the two pulleys marked in yellow are the same part number? I need to replace both, but Paddocks Spares were not able to say if they were!

Thanks.

Hi Roel,

Yes I looked at it but it's got the same diagram as I posted which doesn't show a part number. I think they possibly are the same, but just wanted to see if anyone could confirm. I can't believe that Paddocks couldn't tell me one way or the other. Thanks.

I don't think Paddock's would be able to tell you as they are a different part number as the one on the right comes with its aluminium bracket to bolt into where the ACE pump would go.

Just checked on Microcat and the pulley itself is a different part number, (when I purchased one it came with the bracket)
Part numbers are ERR6658 and ERR6493 (looks like it has a spacer and a longer bolt)

Cheers

Hi Will,

Thanks for the info...

I've got them both off and they have the same bearing number on both of them 6303 LHA.... they look identical, but the one to the left has a spacer to space it out, but it comes off (ERR @ £29.69). I don't need the bracket for the one on the right, but I can buy just the pulley (ERR6658 @ £‌45.44) I'm assuming the one to the right encased in yellow must be a stronger bearing as it looks to me like it would be under more strain, hence the extra cost??

Thanks

I changed the bearings in both of those pulleys on mine and the bearings were identical. I didnt compare the two pulleys in detail but believe they are both the same.

Thanks Steve,

I can't see any difference between the two either, but makes you wonder why the one without the spacer is more expensive!

I’ve always found it strange how one part is £x but a slightly different part is so much more, especially on things like this when it appears it’s a bolt and spacer what is the difference.
