2003 TD5 - stall and loss of power
We have a 2003 td5 90, typically it seems to stall at traffic lights and then when it starts there is a loss of power for approx 30 seconds and then it kicks back in and works ok. This is an intermittent issue and has happened twice!

Hi, when you go to restart do you hear the fuel pump buzzing or any gurgling like air is being expelled from the system? Any oil in the injector harness where it meets the ECU under the driver's seat?

Try driving it with the MAF disconnected.

Mine does it quite often after a stall, or after a quick start and drive off, done it for over130K miles, thought it was normal but irritating. Be interested if there is a solution. MAF been disconnected for years.
