I've just sold a Lexus as after a wait of 6 months my 90HT is due this weekend.
Lexus really are unbeatable when it comes to Customer Service but I still keep coming back to Landrover. My last (of 3) D4 went a maximum of 5 weeks between any breakdown.... I think it's called character! Fingers crossed for the new one. D5. Previously 90HT, D4, D4, D4, D2, D1 (3 door V8!) |

I've read it also applies to Toyotas ~ old or new, irrespective of where they have been serviced previously.
Only thing with Toyota, is that the standard warranty was five-year/100k-mile policy and is now a three-year/60k one. It certainly seems a decent offer, especially in conjunction with "Toyota’s price promise, which sees dealers match service quotes from independent garages within 10 miles, is also unchanged." https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/toyota/35513...r-warranty Click image to enlarge |

They could be onto something, especially if there a rush in a few years time of people wanting to get a good reliable car that is not electric.
Having that peace of mind that they would be able to keep it longer, with a warranty certainly appears attractive. Anybody at JLR listening………….tumbleweed. |

I wonder if they will offer it on their future off road products...

This two-seat buggy-style off-roader gets a hydrogen-burning 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine with selectable four-wheel drive. It is the first Lexus to be equipped with the technology, as Toyota pitches hydrogen combustion as an alternative path toward zero emissions goals." https://www.europe.autonews.com/automakers...gen-roader |
