Settings menu missing
My wife started up the Defender yesterday morning and attempted to access the settings menus and they're not there (we live on a VERY busy road and must turn off the rear traffic braking, or we'd never get out of the driveway without the Defender attempting to kill us). So, as we would normally upon start up, one of the first things we'd do is turn off the rear traffic braking, but as of yesterday the settings menus are gone. All of them, gone. If you hit the "gear" settings button you get options for your profile, but thats it. There are no other vehicle settings, no menus, no nothing.

We got no notification of a software update, as of yesterday morning the settings menu just isn't there. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how to get the settings menus back?

I'm actually very concerned about this as it is a major safety concern. Having the Defender think its smarter than a human and slamming on the brakes, stopping you dead in traffic is NOT A GOOD THING! I would really prefer that my Defender not attempt to kill me or my family.

Have you tried a pivi reboot?

Hold the on/off button while the engine is running until it reboots (about 20 seconds) you can release the button once the Land Rover logo re appears. L663 90ht

You don’t need to turn on the engine to do a reboot of PiviPro just press the start/stop button without your foot on the brake. Well I can do it that way in my now ancient 2020MY Defender! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
