Land Rover Roof Box

Has anybody purchased the Land Rover Roof Box specific to the Defender? If so what are your thoughts about it? I'm thinking of buying one, as they seem to be only marginally more expensive than other manufacturers (such as Thule) but would, I assume, be easier to fit / remove as is custom made for the Defende.r Current: MY22 P400e SE

I would think the genuine box is Thule bearing in mind they manufacture the genuine rack.

I was considering the same box but wasn’t convinced with the shape and ended up buying VPLVR0061 which is low profile and fits to the roof rack. It’s a genuine land rover box (made by Thule). Worked well during our recent trip to France.

Thanks for the advice

I'll look into that one too then... I just want something that can be easily mounted onto the defender cross bars, so presumed that the defender dedicated roof box would be the best bet? Current: MY22 P400e SE

I believe it should fit as long as the distance between the rails is within the specs below

Does your roof box have quick release mounts or does the box have to be bolted to the roof rack? Current: MY22 P400e SE
