2007 Defender 90 Red Booster
Does anyone have any feedback on the red booster clutch modification? I am seriously thinking to buy one as the clutch is heavy and hard work in traffic as we all know. I just cannot find enough reviews about it to spend that much money. Anybody had one done and care to share any comments on its installation or use?

Have you taken a look at the LOF Clutch system? A game changer and your knees will thank you for it…. Thumbs Up Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Agreed. LOF master cylinder and power spring fitted to mine and it is lighter than the wife’s mini. Much cheaper option than red booster as well.

Having driven a defender with a red booster, I thought it was horrible and hated it. Yes the pedal is very light but there was no feel at all and wasnt a nice feeling at all. And then you have to look at the price because they aren’t cheap at all

I have a LOF clutch spring at the moment and that works well, if I was doing it now I’d be buying the willwood master cylinder

Excellent all. Thank you so much. I have contacted LOF and see what they say. Can any garage fit? Hoping it isnt complicated.

Luke is excellent, as is his gear. Any competent mechanic can install the LOF gear, even a DIY guy like me Thumbs Up

My Td5 clutch with spring and slave cylinder is too light for me, so have got to sort, but shows how light it can be made.

I have had a Red booster fitted on my TD5 and although it feels like the clutch needs bleeding I find it easy to drive and it might put off a potential thief thinking the clutch is broken Laughing
