The electrons have started moving again, lights are on, radiators are warm Bow down

That was a salutary lesson in how everything in my life requires electricity nd it’s miserable when it stops flowing. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

That's really good news, Bluest Thumbs Up

You are correct, our reliance on the electrickery is all and encompassing.

I have been told that I need to be more positive in my outlook (I am not the person who has with his family, been freezing their bits off in the dark for the last five or so days). Just think of all that electricity and money you have saved Laughing

Bet you won't be able to buy a Generator now till Easter Rolling Eyes

Glad it's all sorted Very Happy

Being a naturally frugal type, the 4 days saving on gas hadn’t escaped my notice, especially as I’m on the expensive tariff after Avro went bust. Laughing 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

125A Changeover Switch - Single Phase

so you can have DNO supply or generator ( brake before make both ways ) and earthing rod for standby use only

2P+E INLET 250V for outside wall sized to you power needs up to 125 amps but as most houses have 100 amp headers and 90 amp fuse

installed post DNO power meter and before your dis-board

If you have split phase supply i.e. 2 phases Neutral and earth 3phane set up will cuver this
