United Kingdom 2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Java Black
puma not running right
Hi, having some problems with my 2.4 puma. Its hard to start when cold always take to attempts to start also (randomly) occasionally black smokes more notable at hi speed, when going up hills you can sometimes feel it surging through the throttle pedal and generally feels under powered when trying to rev the engine up hills. When going down the motorway it goes into what feels like limp mode you have to shut the car down and restart it go get it back to normal, i changed the vcv valve 3 months ago and the problem when away for a wile now back!

Also having a problem with the key, sometimes i really struggle to unlock with the the key fob other times i can do it from 8 meters away. when i go to start the car the starter engagers and then disengages making a horrible noes when it hits the fly wheel other times starts fine! i think theres problems are caused my a bad ignition barrel. I did hear about a service bulletin on some wiring to check around the obd plug ??

folt coads

p068a engine control module/powertrain control module- power relay de-energized to early

p0234 turbo/supercharged over boost condition
