Various types, e.g. a posh one that goes through the wing vent and doesn't require cutting holes in the wing - but will need some bespoke pipework to attach to you air filter housing.
https://www.nakatanenga.de/en/vehicle-equi...r-housing. However I'm guessing that the carb V8 doesn't have an air intake in the wing like the Turbo diesels that followed? If so you'll have to do some wing butchering to make an off-the-shelf RAI fit. https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/da3025-s...tment.html series 3/early Ninety/One Ten type... https://www.roversnorth.com/parts/rna2002_...y_defender JB @Lodelaner Instagram Youtube greenlaning and other LR related content |

Looks same as the one in the Craddocks link but £50 more expensive. JB

Thanks gents - says up to 94? Wonder why not 95 -
Also I have an external cage and says not compatible - sorry left that detail out. I thought there was one floating around the internet for a V8, 3.5 and carbs with a cage...could be wrong? Jeff |

If you have a cage, I think you may struggle to get one to fit off the shelf.
I'd probably go to my local exhaust fabricator and get them to mandrel bend a piece of 2 1/5 or 3" pipe with a kink at the bottom to match the bulkhead / windscreen join and add a couple of tabs so that it can be mounted to the cage with P Clips. Add another hole for it to go through the wing top in front of where the cage likely goes through, bit of flexi tubing at one end to connect to the airbox and a safari style snorkel top from ebay and you likely have something that works as well for sub $100... |

It's not a huge job to fit a wing type snorkel if you've got a cage, I did it on my 110 hardtop. Just need to extend the wing hole a bit and make a blanking plate up. Click image to enlarge |

Southdown also do a V8 version that is compatible with a cage:
https://www.southdown4x4.co.uk/Southdown%2...norkel.htm You do need to cut a hole in your wing however. |

Thanks! This might work as I don't have a hole yet - does the side hole have to be in a specific spot...? Or with the cage I can move a few inches for clearance and still have it tight? |
