Rusty Third Row Brackets
Just about to pick up my 110.
The previous owner removed (and sold) the third row Tumbledown seats.
I have tracked down some replacements (thanks Charlie!) in good condition except the brackets that attach to the vehicle which have heavy surface rust.
The h-shaped brackets that bolt to the floor don't have to many moving parts seem easy enough to refurb by having them powder coated in one piece. It's the feet that attach to the seats themselves that look more difficult to remove and have springs and levers attached.
Has anybody managed to take these apart and refurbed them? Any tips?

Powder coating is not the best for steel, no even corroded and sandblasted (?) steel. Better look for some good paint."Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo

Crikey, I had always thought that powder coating worked well on steel.
Regardless of finish, are these bits easy to remove for treating? The springs give me cause for concern!

I’ve removed these (and had them powder coated) - once you’ve undone the nut, the assembly slides off the bar, however it’s a very tight interference fit and in my case, took a fair amount of levering until it started to come free, so you need to take care else you may start deforming the bracket. Once it’s off, further disassembly is pretty straight forward, I don’t recall the spring causing any particular problem.
