Yesterday diesel was €175.9 (145.14 sterling) at one station. The garage up the road was €189.9 (156.56 sterling). I had thought of getting my tank in the shed topped up but no one has diesel. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I remember filling up my D3, 89p a litre at that time, thinking it’ll cost a fortune once fuel hits £1 a litre.

I'm feeling a little smug at the minute having purchased a car with LPG tank built in. It's only 70p a litre, although I don't get the full saving as economy is worse on the LPG, but it's still a good discount. As an added bonus, a chap fills it up for me so I don't even need to get out of the car. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
