Diff engaged light.
Yesterday it worked & today nothing! Been underneath & plugs still on so guessing the switch? Had to replace the reverse light switch a couple of weeks ago. Been off road all day & I’d the diff locks working. Is it possible to change the switch from underneath or does the cubby have to come out? Have the planar heater under the cubby!!

I have replaced my diff lock switch from below, 2.2. I had to chop a 19mm spanner though to be able to reach and rotate. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

You can do it from below, a very deep socket helps, but needs space to fit wires in it to! Cheers

That’s not a bad idea, if it were accessible from the top ( if it didn’t mean removing the Planar) I’d give it a go.
But beings I’ve got to do it from underneath I think I’ll try & get one in Spain. Does anyone have a part number for the 2.2?

Just an update, did this the other day & as said a cut down 19mm works a treat. It took as long to change the sensor as it did to try & undo the clip into the loom!
One thing I did with ours was to remove the floor pan under the drivers seat so you can see over the chassis rail which makes it much easier.
