Can not find O and OB as a twisted pair on both wiring diagrams for 2.4
I would make safety free ends and trace then back the start Last edited by dorsetsmith on 30th Aug 2021 8:08am. Edited 1 time in total |

Don’t quote me as this being accurate but in that area and being two wires I would suggest clutch switch.
From the video I can’t see the clutch switch present, looks like instead of doing the neat mod I did that someone has just cut the connector off and twisted the two wires together to [close the circuit] which is what a [Puma requires] unless an active working clutch switch is present. I would tape it up for now as is to isolate it, then buy a male and female 2 pole junior power timer connectors. Then fit a wire loop to close the circuit neatly and tie aside. I can’t remember which side is M or F but this is what I did. As I said, this is based on presumption, but check the wiring colours off against the clutch switch wiring colours, this is what I am fairly sure it may be. You need to keep the circuit closed for now I.e. wires connected together or you’ll have big problems driving it. Checking the wiring colours off of a LR wiring schematic against them will give you 100% accuracy as to if it is indeed the clutch switch. As I said, I maybe wrong but that’s my thoughts as to what it is. On mine I run with the clutch switch bridged / closed all the time with the clutch switch deleted and left idle. ![]() ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

That looks like someone has run an accessory wire from the dash. I have run run some extra wires to/from additional dash switches through that same bulkhead grommet. My guess is something that was fitted has been removed but the wiring remains.
I’d check if they are live or not. Also if you have any accessory switched inside (spotlights etc.) see if it becomes live when you press those. Maybe pull the dash centre panel to see if you can see the other end of them. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |
