I read that the front headrests are fitted to a 'Safety restraint' system. In the event of an accident both headrest are pulled down to there lowest setting.
I'll try and find the LR document, LR claimed the front headrests are NOT removeable. Yes you can remove with a big mallet, ........ how do you reinsert them ??? BEWARE !!! pdf for you to read. https://www.lrdefender.org/front_row_seat_...-1042.html |

Thanks for that info. You are right, as per the link you posted. The back of the seat has to come off. It isn’t a simple procedure. Just confirmed it with the dealership.
