04 td5 no start and alarm not working.
Hi, looking for help. Today the td5 would not crank. Battery fine. Oddly my key fob remote doesn't blink lights when turning alarm on or off anymore which I think is related.. Tried new fob battery and spare fob. No change. Drove it yesterday no problem. Nanocom can't communicate with as10. 2004 td5. Any thoughts? No blinking immo light on cluster which I've had with dead key fob in the past. I use the fob daily to arm and disarm the alarm. These must be connected. With not being able to talk to as10 does thst mean my as10 is bad?. 04 110 TD5

You may have lost power to the AS10 alarm unit as you can not communicate with the unit and you have no dash light

check fuses to start with and also 12v before and anther fuses ( make shore you ground and 12 v + at alarm unit plugs )

under seat fuse box

fuse 7 and 6

passenger fuse box

fuse 8 only powered with ign switch on

also check earthing from battery to chasse and down to transfer box and between chasse to the bulk head under land rover

Grey connector AS10

Thanks for the help. All fuses were good. I disconnected the battery for a bit and now as10 is working! 04 110 TD5
