Britpart bulkhead removal bar
Hi, does anyone have any photos of a Puma fitted with a britpart bulkhead removal bar, specifically where they have mounted it through the top lip of the tub? I'm getting ready to install mine but the instructions are worse than useless and google images isn't giving up the goods. Thanks.

Thanks, yeah I actually watched them last night, he is in a much better position than me as he has the tub out, I know it can be done without removing the side panels as there are a few videos of it (none are fully detailed though) but think it would need to be modified slightly.

Hopefully my bar is not as deformed as his as he seemed to have a total nightmare).

Personally I would bin the Britpart bar and go a different route - the frustration will not be worth the reward. Big Cry Rgds.

Hmmm, possibly, any suggestions? (Bearing in mind I have already cut the bulkhead out Very Happy)

Thanks for the offer, I haven't tried a 'dry fit' yet so will know more when I try, just don't want to start drilling holes until I'm 100% convinced it will fit properly and do its job correctly.

Maybe a dry fit is the way to start and see how it looks. Maybe you might get lucky ? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Unfortunately there are limited manufactures of these, and most on sale seem to be the britpart ones even if they dont directly say so

Screw it, that's going in the 'too hard' pile, I've ordered a different style. Would be ok if you were doing a rebuild and could work with the 'loose' tolerances.
